Oh what a night!

On Friday, September 7th we (Elena & Lana) attended the exciting opening night of BTAP Theatre’s most recent production “Born for Broadway”.
Founder and Artistic Director, Mary Rings, a professional theatre, television and film actor herself, did not disappoint us with her enthusiastic ability to unite over 40 actors with various challenges including autism, down syndrome, and cerebral palsy into one integrated production of musical skits.

With all said and done, it was apparent that at the core of it all was HEART. –And for us, that is the key to everything! It goes without saying, that we saw an impressive group of talent and lots of joy up on that stage 🙂

For us, it was a special treat (as well as our inspiration for attending) to re-unite with our friends, two of the company’s actors: Shane McKaskell and Michael Rice, who were a part of our “Through the Heart of Tango” docu-film & event project just several months back. We are all eagerly awaiting the see the film, currently in post-production. In the meantime, soon to come is a video album of memorable snapshots of our time together (music & all)!
